Building Superintendent Jobs

We are seeking a Building Superintendent for a 40,000-square-foot office building in Ronkonkoma, 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Great opportunity with excellent benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all building operations including plumbing, electric, landscaping, HVAC and manage relationships with those vendors
• Salt and shovel walkways as needed
• Check bathrooms each morning to ensure all equipment/fixtures are in working order
• Handle miscellaneous repairs including leaks, lighting, painting, spackling, etc. and bring in vendors to handle when necessary
• Manage building management software program that controls HVAC, boilers, etc.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance and operation of the building
• Manage buildouts and renovations
• Work closely with Building Manager on a variety of projects
• Walk the building each morning to check temperatures of spaces and that the heat/AC is working

Qualifications

• Availability to be on call after hours if necessary
• Some prior relevant experience required
• Broad knowledge of building operation and general contracting/carpentry required
