Building Coordinator

Position based in our NYC Corporate Office (not remote)

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Implementing of various improvement projects (staff area renewal, furniture update, painting of the stores, etc.)
• Work closely together with our corporative architecture studio & construction department

RESPONSABILITIES RELATED TO NEW OPENNINGS:

• Support Real Estate department
• Handle the HO of the new stores to Zara USA
• Support IDTX HQ construction department and site supervisors in all issues related with Zara USA structure.
• Review zoning & all project layouts with ZARA USA teams. Communicate and manage all modifications request

RESPONSABILITIES RELATED TO MINOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS:

• Determine the necessary resources (time, cost, labor, materials) for each project
• Keep track of schedule and communicate milestones to commercial team
• Ensure the communication between all the departments involved. Specifically, you will coordinate the communication between commercial team, security dpt., architectural studio and construction dept.
• Survey the stores in order to verify the actual needs of any intervention

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Min. 5 years experience as retail construction project manager
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Autocad & Revit (BIM methodology user)
• Flexible and able to travel
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science, architecture or relevant field
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electricity and other architectural aspects

Annual compensation range: $122,000 - $202,000 + discretionary bonus
