Broadcast/Av Technical Project Manager

Primary Function

TeamPeople is seeking an experienced technical project manager to oversee broadcast capital refresh projects from vendor award through implementation. You will be working with the vendor and in-house personnel to maximize resources and efficiencies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return on-investment standards.
• Monitor costs against budget
• Present comprehensive reports and proper documentation
• Document information about projects and save documents, according to client requirements.
• Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Manage project with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
• Attend meetings, take minutes and save Minutes, according to client requirements

• Comfortable working in high-pressure environment
• Excellent presentation skills
• Expert level in Microsoft Products – especially EXCEL
• Ability to support information security, identity management and entitlement provisioning projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate change management
• Competence with project management
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong oral and written skills
• Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities

Education & Experience

• In place of PMP, certified ScrumMaster may apply
• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast media, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum three years management experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions
• Minimum of 3 years’ Project Manager experience – PMP Preferred –
