What You Can Expect:
In the highly strategic position, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in leading clients through the development, execution, and management of marketing strategies and creative campaigns. This is the perfect role for someone with agency account management or brand marketing experience who is looking for a small agency environment that will allow them to do something new every day. The perfect candidate will be a 50/50 blend of creative and strategic and will care deeply about the impact their work has on their client's business.

:
- Participate in the interview process for additional staff members across all departments, and manage part-time interns on occasion.
- Develop and present marketing strategies inclusive of market research, brand identity, target market identification, sales funnel development, messaging clarity, budget recommendations, timelines, content planning, etc.
- Consistently seek out and pursue new business opportunities for Craftsman, and play a significant role in helping us reach our financial targets each fiscal year.
- Collaborate with other departments on a regular basis, providing direction and feedback for all client-facing and internal projects.
- Research and stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and tactics.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Develop comprehensive creative briefs for each project and regularly maintain each project in our project management system (Asana).
- Manage the creative production process for assets in the following categories: social media, video, photo, digital, email, print, web, OOH, and podcasts.
- Support internal marketing efforts for Craftsman, inclusive of website maintenance, video production, podcast development, design direction, and brand language.
- Design creative presentations (in Keynote) on a regular basis, showcasing incredible attention to detail and a thorough understanding of design best practices.
- Manage strategic lead-generation campaigns driven by content creation across multiple mediums including email, social, paid media, etc.
- Lead a number of existing accounts across a variety of industries, retaining and growing our current client relationships.
- Manage social media accounts, producing graphics and short-form video content in collaboration with creative departments, writing captions, developing content calendars, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and providing regular performance reports to clients.
- Develop extensive documentation including meeting agendas, status reports, production schedules, tracking documents, client next steps, etc.
- Manage clients on set for original video and photo productions, and assist in the development of pre-production documentation that sets the course for each day on set.
- Capitalize on your experience to provide in-the-moment, relevant, and strategic marketing advice to executive-level clients.
Qualifications:
- High emotional intelligence, committed to showing empathy to others
- Naturally inclined creative, with organizational skills to compliment
- Experience with the following: Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Sprout Social, Asana (or other project management software), Slack, Google Workspace, and Excel
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field
- Extreme attention to detail, and clear competency for creating beautiful work
- Thorough understanding of the current marketing landscape and confidence to share those insights with others
- Shows initiative always and adds value beyond the scope of their role
- 2-4 years experience in a creative or social/digital agency environment
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
