We are seeking an experienced and visionary Brand Director for Puritan’s Pride to develop and executing a comprehensive brand strategy for this large Direct–To-Consumer (D2C) brand. This role will be responsible to develop the Brand Vision and Strategy and how it manifests across the customer journey and digital experience to deliver measurable business results.


The Brand Director for Puritan’s Pride will be a crucial role in shaping the future of brand. The candidate will develop a compelling brand vision, strategy, and plan to execute it that unlocks growth. The strategy will include a customer segmentation, value proposition, and Visual identity; a Retention Program rooted on data-driven customer journeys; a physical and digital product innovation roadmap; and an updated price and promo philosophy. The Brand Director for Puritan’s Pride leads the execution of the plan and day-to-day D2C operations of onsite ecommerce activities, including providing guidance on channel & category management, forecast and inventory, promotion calendar, and digital merchandising.


To succeed in this role, we need a dynamic and influential leader who can work collaboratively with DTC and central teams to align them behind a shared vision for the brand ensuring a consistent and seamless customer experience. The Director will need to be a proactive communicator, fostering an environment of collaboration and open dialogue to encourage cross-functional teamwork.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in brand strategy and management, with experience working in an ecommerce environment. They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as an understanding of the Health and Wellness industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to own and drive the success of a large DTC brand and make a meaningful impact on the business.


Responsibilities:


  • Use of data analytics, forecast planning and leading-edge consumer insights to influence and drive incremental growth.
  • Own the development and execution of the Brand Planning process, rooted on customer and business insights, value drivers, and unmet customer needs.
  • Define metrics, create objectives, and drive cadences that track progress, while managing prioritization, trade-offs, and alignment for speed to market, performance.
  • Lead the development of a Retention Program that reduces churn and oversee the execution across all customer touchpoints.
  • Establish a new strategic Price and Promo model that unlocks growth by providing a simple, clear, and consistent perceived value to our customers.
  • Create the Brand Positioning for Puritan's, encompassing the Value Proposition across essential aspects such as culture and category dynamics, customer targeting and insights, and brand truths and reasons to be convinced. Shape the Visual Identity and the overarching concept for Puritan's Pride communication campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders and executive teams to align on a shared brand strategic vision for Puritan’s Pride.
  • Set the vision and strategy for Puritan’s brand experience, powering top and bottom-line growth
  • Build and drive a strong Digital & Physical Innovation strategy and roadmap, linking financials, capabilities, and customer needs
  • Earn trust by delivering promised results
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team and additional cross functional resources, while contributing to creating a learning culture and a fun, rewarding workplace.


Requirements:


  • Extensive experience on Brand Vision, Brand Planning, Go-To-Market Plans, and Innovation Roadmap.
  • Exceptional Brand Strategy and Brand Planning skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and handle challenging business situations at all levels of management, while maintaining high attention to detail and situational fluency.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally, working with leaders on strategic direction and team members on tactical details.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to thrive in change as both a high-level strategic thinker and hands-on operator who delivers results.
  • Strong understanding of the Digital, Ecommerce, and D2C environment, with experience driving initiatives that are rooted in the new ways how customers interact and purchase from brands.
  • Up to 20% travel to NHS Hub in Hoboken NJ
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and strategic problem-solving skills that cut through complexity and turn high-level requirements into specific projects.
  • People Leadership experience
  • Creative thinker with a mind for expansiveness and seeking opportunities, able to translate ideas into creative concepts that resonate with customers.
  • Relevant brand experience in a fast-paced, consumer product company.
  • 10+ years leading Marketing with a D2C or ecommerce focus.
  • Demonstrated business acumen that contributes to the growth of the organization, with a self-starting, outside-the-box approach and entrepreneurial drive.

The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000-$225,000. . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
