Title: BI Reporting Analyst

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pmPST Remote

Location: Office in Irvine, CA

Duration: Full-Time Equivalent

Job Summary: The reporting analyst will be providing our leaders and departments with the necessary reports and data to manage their teams. This person will be responsible for collecting relevant reporting needs, analyzing raw data, developing and delivering reports, and coordinating reporting needs. The ideal person must have excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, a strong eye for detail, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and be able to work on tight deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the company's business model and objectives.
• Use business analytics platform to conduct financial analysis and build up visualization reports based on the analysis.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify reporting needs, identify data sources, and build reports for internal and external customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Provide recommendations and guidance on reports and analytics that will help our managers and their teams achieve their reporting needs and business goals.
• Design report templates and dashboards for new programs to fulfill internal and external stakeholders contractual and production requirements.
• Ability to organize, develop and present data based in the format that best aligns customer needs, such as raw data, Excel based reports, visual reports, and dashboards.
• Create and modify reports for upper management to deliver and present KPIs.
• Typical essential functions include but are not limited to those listed below: Gather business requirements and deliver business analytics-based solutions using structured/unstructured data.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to analyze large data sets and create comprehensive reports and presentations.
• Background in healthcare; health insurance, or other insurance sectors, a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Works independently or collectively.
• Proficient with SQL, Power BI, and SSRS.
• Ability to combine strong analytical skills with business knowledge.
• Excellence in planning and execution. Results orientated.
• Builds solid, effective working relationships with others within a team environment.
• Ability to understand intimate data processes and tools.
• Experience with data visualization, modeling, reporting, and manipulation.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field, required.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, or similar field, required.
