As a Business Intelligence Developer, the person would be responsible for various tasks related to data integration, analysis, and reporting. Some of the key responsibilities and activities of this role include: Data Integration: The person would work on incorporating and integrating data from various sources into the data warehouse back end. They would need to understand artificial intelligence technology and utilize it effectively in data integration processes. Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as MDX, DMX, SQL, C#, and Python is crucial for this role. The candidate would leverage these skills to manipulate and query data, perform data transformations, and create efficient data models. Software Skills: The candidate should have expertise in software tools such as SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Tableau, Performance Point, and Power BI. They would use these tools to develop data analytics platforms, design interactive dashboards, and create visually appealing reports. Maintenance and Support: The person would be responsible for maintaining existing data analytics platforms and ensuring their smooth operation. They would work closely with the Data Support Unit to implement necessary changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on CalSAWS requirements and technical specifications. Power BI and Tableau Expertise: Extensive knowledge of both Power BI (on-premise and cloud) and Tableau is required. The candidate would utilize these tools to design and develop insightful visualizations, build interactive reports, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders. Overall, the Business Intelligence Developer would play a vital role in data management, integration, analysis, and visualization, leveraging their programming skills and software expertise to enable effective decision-making and drive business intelligence initiatives. The candidate will be working in the Business Intelligence unit. The candidate should understand artificial Intelligence technology and be able incorporate and integrate the data to the data warehouse back end. The candidate need to have the following programming skills: MDX; DMX, SQL, C#, python In addition, the candidate must also have the following software skills: SSAS, Tableau, Performance Point, Power Bi Maintain our current data analytics platforms while working with our Data Support Unit to make corresponding changes according to requirements and technical specifications. Extensive knowledge with Power Bi on premise and cloud. Extensive knowledge with Tableau on premise. Ability to develop SSAS tabular models.
