Job Description

Orsini Specialty Pharmacy is a nationwide specialty pharmacy focused on providing exceptional care to patients throughout their journey. We focus on disease programs that require a high-touch patient experience and provide those we care for genuine empathy and compassion as part of our service delivery.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Benefits Verification Representative will process requests for specialty drug by verifying the patient's benefits through major medical and pharmacy benefits. Troubleshoot any rejections and submit for prior authorizations request on new or recurring patients.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TRAINING
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit
  • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of HCPCs codes
  • Experience with Major Medical Insurance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Partner with Accounts Receivable to resolve benefit issues
  • Perform monthly Re-verifications
  • Troubleshoot pharmacy claims rejection
  • Perform benefit verifications through the medical and pharmacy benefits
  • Submit and obtain Prior Authorizations with insurance companies
