Job Description
Meta is seeking to fill the position of US Benefits Manager, Life@ Benefits Strategy & Engagement. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader in benefits strategy and engagement, collaborating closely as an internal consultant across the benefits team and key partners. Benefits Strategy includes data strategy, core benefits governance (budget oversight and Captive arrangement), project manager strategic guidance and mergers & acquisitions. Employee engagement includes leading the innovative design, strategy and execution to drive engagement in the right programs to support our people’s well-being. This includes closely partnering with our communications partners and identifying and developing creative and innovative ways to engage employees through technology and marketing within our existing and emerging workforce dynamics. This role will also oversee our Global well-being program and US death benefit and voluntary programs.We are seeking an experienced and innovative team player and thought leader who is a strategic thinker, has strong communications skills and proficient Excel skills with a natural curiosity to look at data in creative ways, and who has overseen multiple areas of benefits including health and welfare, retirement (401(k)) and/or time away. Collaborate with some of the best and brightest in Benefits. Reporting to the Director of Financial Well-being and Benefits Analytics Strategy, this is a high impact role that is expected to work closely with our two Directors and our 7 Benefit Managers and 2 Project Managers across Life@ Benefits. You will also partner with our global programs and metrics lead to help inform on benefits strategy and key focus areas of engagement including keeping our people well. Benefits Manager, Life@ Benefits Strategy & Engagement Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic consultation on the Life@ (benefits) employee survey
  • Partner with Analytics Lead and use market data, people analytics and health data warehouse insights to develop recommendations and to validate priorities for our global benefit and well-being strategies
  • Further develop and execute on employee engagement strategies by collaborating heavily with functional benefit leaders, cross functional partners, and business segment leaders
  • Oversee Captive (US) - life insurance programs
  • Oversee Global Well-being program, US death benefit programs and voluntary programs
  • Oversee Global benefits budget and ongoing governance (semi-annual Finance/Benefits leadership review)
  • Oversee M&A due diligence, resource planning and integration activities for the benefits function
  • Provide strategic guidance on key focus areas for project managers (2)



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with a team
  • Experience in developing strategy for complex projects with a lot of ambiguity
  • Proficient Excel skills (experience with review budget spreadsheets in Excel, filter data tables and create pivot tables)
  • Has 10+ years of US Benefits experience
  • Experience in presenting complex topics, data insights or recommendations to XFN partners or leadership.
  • Has a natural curiosity to look at data in creative ways (experience in summarizing insights from data)
  • Experience overseeing multiple areas of benefits including health and welfare, retirement (401(k)) and/or time away.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mergers and acquisition work
  • Experience in development of benefits engagement strategies
  • Experience as a manager
