This role will properly administer benefits covering health and welfare plans. Interacts with various internal and external teams to provide information on the benefit plans/information and resolves any issues following company protocol. Requirements Include: progressive benefits administration experience, including at least two years in a senior or lead role. Experience in managing the implementation of benefit programs/carriers/vendors, as well as benefit vendor management experience required, certification preferred. Responsibilities Include:
- Routinely reviews billing processes and suggests process improvement opportunities to VP HR.
- Interact with Payroll, Finance and Benefits vendors to resolve billing, pay, and enrollment matters.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and HIPAA/compliance standard
- Maintain benefit consultant/carrier relationships
- Partner with internal programmer analysts to establish and troubleshoot vendor integrations. Work closely with IT, Manager of Finance and HR Systems to establish and maintain benefit reports and dashboards in HRIS. Modify benefits related system set up and business processes as needed.
- Oversee health and welfare plan administration and compliance
- Audits enrollment data and payroll premium collection process on a quarterly basis for accuracy, initiates corrective actions when necessary to resolve issues.
- Reviews monthly vendor billing against plan enrollment to ensure accuracy of payments against plan census.
- Assists with resolution of individual employee benefits issues and maintains issues log for documentation of all benefits related escalations and resolutions.
- Manage the annual Open Enrollment process
