- Act as a customer service associate handling all emails for the benefits inboxes, escalating cases to case managers or benefits analysts, as appropriate.
- Coordinate with Benefits Team, Payroll Team and Leave vendor to assist in resolving issues.
- Case management for employees on a leave of absence or seeking information on leave of absence.
- Provide Benefits Team with as needed support on key task, ad hoc projects and reporting tasks, including Open Enrollment.
- Assistance with full cycle leave administration, including tracking all employees on leave through spreadsheets and reports from Leave vendor, including notifications, checklist, questions, employee timecard entry, Return to Work confirmations and payroll reports.
- Identify communication and operational issues arising during day-to-day administration activities and/or contact with customers and propose solutions to the Leave Administrators or Benefits Analyst as appropriate.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, working with pivot tables, running and creating functions and working with multiple sheets and formulas.
- Ability to respond effectively and timely to sensitive information, to be an attentive listener, and to assist employees with compassion and empathy.,
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills in order to make best judgment calls.
- Impeccable attention to details and interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2+ years of leave administration experience
