If you have a license in the state of Washington, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Identify and prioritize gaps in care to develop plan of care to empower members to meet identified goals
- Provide telephonic case management services to members which include coordination or care and behavioral health management consulting
- Review treatment plans, and coordinate transitions between various areas of care
- Assess current behavioral health status for members
- Provide behavioral health education, coaching and treatment decision support for members
- Obtain information from providers and coordinate services amongst provider group

Required Qualifications:
- Computer/typing proficiency to enter/retrieve data in electronic clinical records and provide customer service on the phone concurrently
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling; OR Licensed Ph.D.; OR Registered Nurse
- Independent, current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Washington
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Proficient Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows 10)
- Dedicated office space and access to high-speed internet via cable/DSL in your home
- 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience working in an environment that required coordinating resources and utilizing multiple groups and resources for patients
- Experience working with Medicaid lines of business
- Case Management experience

Washington Residents Only: The salary range for Washington residents is $56,300 to $110,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
