• On-Site Primary Therapist for an Eating Disorder Treatment Facility in Seattle and Bellevue, WA

Job Summary

As a Primary Therapist, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform.

The Primary Therapist conducts individual, family, and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. Our Primary Therapists develop each patient’s individualized treatment plan and work with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan.

Responsibilities

• Attend treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team
• Create individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members
• Wellness plan and aftercare plan
• For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork including:
• Treatment plans
• Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes
• Discharge summary
• Create treatment agreements, support plans or behavior plans as needed
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load:
• Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm and suicide assessments
• Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group and family therapy

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
• Computer proficiency
• Experience with individual and family therapy preferred
• Experience with CBT, DBT, and/or ACT
• Washington State Clinical License (Independent, Associate or Intern Phase)
• Experience in a higher level of care preferred
