Job Description
  • Identification of current customer requests and new requests including type of procurement (authorized requisition, RFP, RFQ, contract negotiation, local agreement or state procurement) to be documented in your system.
  • Prioritization of workload for the procurement team utilizing contract expiration dates, request date, critical impact to organization, etc.
  • Address customer concerns and communications for procurement team.
  • Allocation of workload among buyers based on bandwidth and competency to improve current team morale and engagement.
  • Provide weekly status updates to CFO for project transparency and awareness.
  • Create a strategic sourcing roadmap with milestones and targeted savings goals. Interim Resource will leverage Client's Supply Chain analytic tools to address savings opportunities by product spend category.
  • Establish a strategic sourcing work plan to begin proactively managing and addressing expiring agreements and new contract opportunities.
  • Conduct an in-depth evaluation and inventory of current projects and procurements in the queue to determine prioritization and projected completion timeline.
  • On-site, day-to-day workload management of Member's Supply Chain procurement team.
