Automation Manager Jobs

The Quality Assurance Manager is a key position within the Quality Assurance team working in the Customer Success division at Sofy. We work collaboratively with various project teams across multiple customer implementations. The successful candidate will show talent with a highly collaborative approach, exhibiting excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating, collecting and documenting and reporting on software QA KPIs.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
• Manage and work on production defect fixes and site regression
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure application functionality, performance, and security meets requirements.
• Manage day to day QA operations work including that of the offshore team
• Ensure mobile app compatibility across different devices and platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for mobile applications on different platforms and devices.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
• Stay current with new testing tools and methodologies and recommend their adoption to improve the team's workflow.
• Monitor and evaluate app performance and recommend performance improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mobile application testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile app testing and mobile app compatibility issues.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app development and testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred skills

• Familiarity with mobile app security testing practices.
• Experience with mobile app automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso).
• Experience with mobile app performance testing and optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud-based mobile app testing tools.
