Automation Controls Technician, Cell Electrode

This is a physically demanding job working in tight spaces, requiring walking and standing all day, as well as, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders and lying on the ground intermittently throughout the day. In addition, the technician may wear a fall protection harness while working from heights or from a suspended position. Maintenance Technicians will lift up to 50 lbs. and utilize other hand tools and power tools as needed.

• Assist in all areas of automated equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the cell team meets the equipment yield and availability targets.
• Troubleshoot and maintain all controls components such as PLC, safety devices, HMI, servo drives, process hardware and instrumentation.
• Maintain standardized work procedures for PLC troubleshooting, testing and automated equipment controls with several Production and Equipment Engineering peers.

• Experience with Fieldbus's other Networking protocols.
• Comfortable running equipment using internal or 3rd party software, able to decipher logs and troubleshoot equipment.
• Skilled in SCADA & HMI systems, such as Ignition, WinCC, and Beckhoff.
• Availability off-hours and weekends as needed.
• Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and other office suite programs.
• Demonstrated abilities with AutoCAD and or Solid works is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English).
• Skilled at troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and or electro-mechanical systems that includes servo motors, sensors and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and able to manage multiple priorities to achieve and maximize team/departmental goals.
• Demonstrate strong fundamental knowledge and experience with Automated Control Systems.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Skilled in PLC Languages (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff) and or a demonstrated ability to learn new PLCs.
• Prociency reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and utilizing them to troubleshoot complex machine issues.
