Job Responsibilities
- Managing the audit staff in conducting engagements from planning to finalization of deliverables.
- Managing the development of staff by providing direction and feedback, training, collaboration, and teambuilding. As well, you will be responsible for assessing their performance.
- Proactively managing the implementation of continuous improvement for audit processes.
- Actively participating in and contributing to agency success by leading and/or participating in various opportunities.
- Demonstrating technical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn operations of providers and exhibiting a solid understanding of the provider’s business.
- Managing communications with the engagement stakeholders with emphasis on efficiency, progress, problem solving, and resolutions.
- Managing the audit activities to ensure compliance with applicable statues, regulations, or professional standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, auditing, business administration, finance and professional experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or tax analysis.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and auditing.
- Must have a valid SC Drivers license. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Must have an active CPA license and a minimum of 4 years of progressive audit experience or a minimum of 6 years of progressive audit experience with 3 of those years consisting of management experience.
