What you’ll do:

• Create product technical specifications and assets related to lens products
• Assist Senior Product Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product launches and discontinuations milestones are defined and tracked (from concept to market execution)
• Use gathered information and analysis to negotiate best available commercial program (for HOYA) with customers
• Displays willingness and ability to make thorough business decisions
• Support the HOYA Vision Care North America (NA) product team to prepare for and execute product launches as well as maintain the existing portfolio and product life cycle management
• Assist, coordinate, and support the execution of the product tactical plans for lens products in HOYA, VISION EASE, PENTAX, Lens Choice, and SEIKO brands for NA
• Demonstrate the ability to produce well written customer and executive facing documents and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, marketing, and operations to bring new products to market and improve existing products
• Work with the NA marketing team to execute marketing materials to support new product launches and existing products
• Create new product setup, manage existing product maintenance in key systems (e.g., JDE and D365), and price changes
• Identify and analyze market research, customer, and industry insights to the internal team members and leaders to create visibility and open dialogue around the roadmap and opportunities
• Thoroughly understand basic P&L statements and balance sheets with basic understanding of “break-even” analysis and ability to develop and manipulate spreadsheets
• Develop and maintain product claims to support sales collateral and training materials
• Proficient with products and technologies amongst Hoya Vision Care’s key branded products which include HOYA, VISION EASE, PENTAX, Lens Choice, and SEIKO

Qualifications:

• Optical industry and laboratory experience preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work independently and produce results across multi-functional organizations
• Demonstrated computer skills especially Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
• Proven experience in product management gained in a fast-paced multi-national environment
• Having worked in an international environment is preferred
• Preferred to be on-site at HOYA corporate Lewisville, TX headquarters. Remote will be considered for qualified candidates.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
