About The Team


DoorDash Drive is our hyper-growth fulfillment platform (“white-label” delivery) serving restaurants, grocers and retailers across the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. The Drive Retail team is a line-of-business within drives and has the vision to be the #1 local delivery provider that gives our retail partners a competitive advantage by offering “white-label” deliveries at unparalleled quality and speed that their end customers love


About The Role


We are looking for a hands-on builder to lead a key category within our same-day-delivery line of business within our Retail Business to Customer (B2C) team. You will help grow our same-day delivery line of business that has been at the forefront of last-mile fulfillment. You will make recommendations based on data on how to grow our retail business and support processes; will work directly with our internal cross-functional partners to ensure our quality is unmatched and with external partners to strengthen our relationship while helping drive our topline and bottom-line business objectives.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…


  • Own business outcomes — be directly responsible for leading growth with retailers in our Retail same-day-delivery line of business and continue to build the analytics infrastructure, metrics, and tools to grow and support our most important partners as well as uncover new opportunities to drive growth
  • Influence – Work cross-functionally with Ops, Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Sales & Business Development to build, launch and scale our new fulfillment model
  • Strategize – Understand the needs of our partners, prioritize those needs by impact, and create solutions with cross-functional partners that you will then execute to drive change
  • Build – Drive the development of new tools and processes for managing Merchant growth in the growing Retail business


We're excited about you because…


  • You’re an analytical powerhouse who lets data win arguments and is comfortable with modeling in Excel. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (ex. Tableau & Mode) is advantageous.
  • You develop and execute on workstreams from start to completion with little oversight
  • Have 4+ years of relevant experience. You’ve succeeded in a competitive and fast moving environment such as consulting / banking / technology / analytics where you were expected to be self-driven with a bias-to-action; experience in a customer-facing or relationship management role is advantageous
  • You represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset
  • You collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members across the organization
  • You are energized by a difficult problem without a clear solution
  • You display extreme ownership across workstreams and can engage other teams and resources to independently figure out answers to nebulous questions
  • You operate comfortably in ambiguous environments while maintaining a strong bias for action

Compensation


The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.


Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

New York Pay Range:


$98,000—$155,000 USD
