Job Description
As the Senior Manager of Small Format (SMSF), you will lead our sales efforts across mid-size regional accounts. Reporting to the Director of Key Accounts, you will oversee a team of Key Account Managers and Category Analysts to implement our off premise strategies at over 50 retailers. Main responsibilities include: coach direct reports; own key account budgets while developing productive business relationships; and build joint business plans with senior leadership at key retailers.

BUSINESS PLANNING AND EXECUTION


Challenge top accounts to outpace growth; call on major small format retailers to use Red Bull’s assets and drive differentiation from competitors Influence retail accounts to follow recommended promotional schedules and associated pricing Construct annual Customer Marketing Agreements(CMA’s), manage associated funds for Key Accounts, evaluate Trade Investments and ensure account Decision Makers (DMs) are “Wired“ with Red Bull personnel Partner with distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact Manage trade investment budgets and evaluate Return on investment to inform future spend Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with important customers Perform post-promotion analysis following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and in-store execution Forecast volume and spend with consideration of prior year performance Exceed volumetric/revenue targets


COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT


Encourage account managers to develop successful programs and important retail relationships Coach and motivate direct reports for increased productivity through time in field, office, and meetings to implement Red Bull strategy


WIRE TO WIN


Develop business relationships with senior management across important retail partners Ensure all accounts’ main decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting strategies Maximize the impact of Red Bull’s support within SMSF’s chains by establishing deep ties between marketing and analytics departments Use the inputs of marketing and finance experts to develop plans and conceptual sells to the trade


CUSTOMER PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT (CPM)


Lead the our priorities, goals, and results across CPM (a long-term business transformation process) as it relates to ALL Key Account processes. Develop trainings and processes to ensure CPM becomes part of RBNA culture. Seek ways to improve and refine.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise


that matter most for this role:


  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in software packages and internal systems (CPM, SAP/BI)
  • Experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data)
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry
  • 7+ years Sales and Key Account experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree


Compensation: $115,000 - $172,000 + incentives


Actual salary offer may vary based on experience
