Associate Learning Consultant
Exec|Comm LLC is a communication skills consulting firm that helps professionals and organizations effectively develop their people’s communication skills. Associate Learning Consultants are responsible for managing and delivering top notch communication skills training programs, sourcing, prospecting and networking to develop business. This role requires strong professional, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments
- Generate and develop new business by leveraging your network and managing existing Exec|Comm accounts
- This role may travel 35% of the time, nationally and internationally.
- Teach a minimum number of Exec|Comm workshops per year, in person and virtual (Zoom, WebEx, etc)
- Maintain pipeline of shared opportunities and proposals • Ability to learn and deliver our internally designed training material with confidence • Identify and uncover client needs
- Help drive sales by creating opportunities and opening capacity for our learning consultant community. Draft proposals and respond to RFP’s
- Embody the firm’s values and follow firm’s policies, procedures, and sales guidelines. • Become certified in our training material to teach Exec|Comm workshops with presence and poise
- Responsible for taking detailed notes on client calls and meetings
- Collaborate client solutions through an others-focused lens
- Prepare materials and attend client meetings and calls. o Design and develop learning materials for programs associated with shared opportunities
- Promote public programs and other marketing events
- Ability to work in a “team selling” structure
- Support team members through a variety of goal-oriented tasks
Qualifications
- 5–7-year track record of success in your career; preferably in business development
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Education and/or Experience

- Highly organized: skilled at managing time, setting milestones/deadlines, and following through with client’s needs
- Communicate with clarity and precision- comfortable speaking with anyone, you love meeting new people • Growth mindset: desire for continuous learning, willingness to pivot, and able to reframe setbacks
- Ability to build successful client relationships and overcome objections/ rejections
- Strong work ethic: hungry to close deals and make things happen
- A passion for detail, selling, developing people, and building client relationships
- Ability to effectively receive and apply personal and professional feedback • Ability to use or learn to use PowerPoint, Word, and OneDrive proficiently

Pay and Benefits Include:
- Other Financial Opportunities, (commission, incentive programs, profit sharing, 401K, annual bonuses based on the financial health of the firm)
- Paid Time Off – One day per month first year/three weeks after first year/four weeks after 6 years/18.5 paid holidays in 2023 (includes half-day Fridays in the summer and end of year closure), 5 Sick/Care days per year, 1 birthday holiday, parental leave policy, paid family leave benefit
- Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 based on business development experience (plus commission)
