Jr. eLearning Consultant

  • Pay Rate: Max $30/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION


Seeking an eLearning Designer who can immediately apply their development experience with Storyline 360 in a small, fast-paced team. This role is ideal for a new graduate with some Storyline 360 experience (either via school projects, internships or OTJ) to develop throughout the development life-cycle with guidance. Bachelor's degree required with at least 1 year of strong experience (internships ok).


Details: The focus on this contractor engagement is building out the eLearning courses, that support College Board programs and the Digital SAT Suite of Assessments. These modules are made up of digital interactive content designed to teach customers what they need to know for successful implementation and integration of the Suite.


For each module, the eLearning Consultant will provide -

  • Quality assurance testing
  • Integrate Universal Design standards Variable, trigger usage; some JavaScript Graphic and image development and modification
  • Design interactivity for users to engage with content
  • Assessment development with use of feedback and remediation
  • Integrate visual design theory and elements
  • Using College Board module template and colors
  • Module development
  • Software simulations
  • ELearning Development
  • Authoring content from manuals or SMEs


Audience for the eLearning Modules

  • Train an estimated sixty thousand users across 12 states/large districts - District and School leaders and staff (Principals, Special Population. etc.)


Content for the eLearning Modules

  • Using the Reporting Portal
  • How to apply for accommodations and plan for administering the assessments to students approved for SSD accommodations
  • Administration
  • SSD Accommodations
  • How to successfully plan for administering the test to students,
  • How to access and navigate the Reporting Portal
  • Assessments
  • Alignment
  • The assessments, their structure and content, and related resources
  • How the tests align to each other, to standards, and to the curriculum


Building the eLearning Modules

  • Modules must be: Easy to use and access, Engaging and interactive, Effective at providing content to users, Appropriate for an audience of adult users
  • SCORM 1.2 and xAPI standards are used and hosted on LMS and reported to LRS.
  • Articulate Review is the tool that will be utilized for module review and feedback.
  • Storyline 360 is the authoring tool that will be used for creating the eLearning modules
