Associate Dean Jobs

As a member of the undergraduate admission office, the associate dean will manage a geographical territory, review applications, participate in selection committee, interact with students, families and college counselors and present information sessions on campus and in external venues. Additionally, the associate dean will act as a member of the dean's senior team. S/he will provide guidance to the dean on all matters, including highly confidential matters regarding the class. Specifically, the associate dean - visitor management will oversee the portfolio that plans and implements all on-campus activities for visiting prospective students and families. This includes (but is not limited to): Information Sessions and Tours, Open Houses and Princeton Preview.

Duties:

Articulate the mission of Princeton University and convey its policies and procedures to applicants, college and university academic advisors, alumni and University personnel. Make group presentations on campus and in external venues. Conduct information sessions. Read and evaluate applications for admission.

Lead all visitor-related programs and activities in conjunction with the director of recruitment, visitor center manager and the events manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
