General Summary

The Associate Auditor participates in projects as directed and is primarily responsible for developing and applying broad-based audit skills – including knowledge of company policies and procedures, and business knowledge.

• Evaluate policies and procedures and propose changes as needed
• Enhances broad-base of audit and technology audit expertise across multiple businesses.
• Interacts with internal clients to gather information and make recommendations.
• Applies broad-based audit skills – including knowledge of company policies and procedures, and business knowledge.
• Participates in audit projects including executing audit testing procedures.
• Compiles and analyzes data.
• Complete required internal audit departmental tasks needed to ensure department’s compliance with professional industry standards and plan for the next assignment
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and analytical skills while conducting audit activities independently, with limited guidance.
• Evaluates and provides appropriate solutions for moderate to more complex problems.
• Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Identifies business risks to evaluate and improve the underlying business processes and internal controls, as well as ways of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
