Assistant Project Manager - Major Commercial Project

I am currently recruiting for Construction Assistant Project Manager for a Developer / Builder to work on a $200M+ commercial construction project in the Baltimore area. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager that is looking to invest hard work into a 50+ year organization and work on large scale, exciting projects throughout the Maryland area. Successful applicants for this position will be a current Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager with 3-5 years of commercial construction, general contracting experience.

Your new role:

The company are known for developing large, multi-million dollar commercial, mixed-use, hotel and multifamily projects in the Mid-Atlantic. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will join a very successful project management team and be situated out of their office in Baltimore.

Your role will be supporting the Senior Project Manager on construction documentation, monthly reports to the ownership and external CM firm, and the management of the on-site subcontractors. As part of the team’s commitment to help you develop your skills, you will be exposed to a variety of tasks throughout the lifecycle of a project.

What you'll need to succeed:

To be successful in this role you will be have 3-5 years’ experience working for a commercial construction general contractor. Ideally you will have exposure to large, new construction projects from the ground up but strong APMs with interior or alternative project experience will be considered. You will also be degree qualified within construction management, architecture, engineering, or business management.
