DMV area. Our growth and continued success demand the immediate need for Project Engineers,


specifically for our market sectors of work. Requires a minimum of two years construction market


Experience And Preferred Minimum Associates Degree For College Education.

PROJECT ENGINEER


Responsibilities include the following


  • Must be organized, proactive and proficient with Microsoft
  • Embrace safety and actively participate in safety compliance and enforcement
  • Be professional, courteous, dependable and a team player at all times
  • Coordinate with team members for materials/equipment that need procured; lead times must
  • Assist APM, PM and Superintendent with job specific tasks
  • Assist with preparation of bids, including submitting bid with approval from bid leader
  • Ensure all team members and subcontractors have current contract documents

  • Thoroughly review and process submittals; coordinate with team members
  • Prepare submittal schedule; prioritize by required date on site
  • Thoroughly review and process RFIs; re-write RFI received from subcontractors as needed and
  • Populate submittal register in Procore


include associated drawings/documentation/solutions with RFI


  • Gather, verify and log all necessary documentation into project management software; take


pride and ownership of project controls


  • Attend weekly meetings with owner and maintain/distribute meeting documents
  • Understand ICRA / ILSM and documentation requirements; assist as needed
  • Ensure team is uploading daily logs into project management software; assist as needed

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in project engineering and management, with a focus on healthcare and life science projects. Responsibilities


  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and contractors
  • Manage project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, and change orders
  • Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays, and develop solutions to keep the project on track
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders


Qualifications


  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working on healthcare and life science projects preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering or assistant project management in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
