Job Description

PM for Hi-rise ground-up & repositioning commercial & industrial projects for local "self-perform" Contractor.


The ideal candidate would have experience as a PE or APM but is ready for the next step in their career or a PM wanting new challenges with a more prominent company. You like building various types of jobs & utilizing state-of-the-art technology & training. If you love learning & want to grow in responsibilities, we have a job for you!


In Your new role, you would be an integral part of the preconstruction & construction process, acting as the front-line company manager interacting with your project construction team. Your responsibilities include negotiating & writing subcontracts, overall contract management, monthly billings, scheduling, Budgeting, & cost monitoring.

Must have Core Competency:

  • Able to work in a collaborative environment with co-workers, subs, vendors & project owners, & their consultants.
  • Be well organized & able to juggle many balls in the air.
  • Excellent people & communication skills, as well as comfortable Interacting with project stakeholders in a management leadership role.
  • Having experience managing self-perform contracts is preferred
  • Be inquisitive when you don't know, be persistent in finding answers, & passionate about providing accurate work products.


Must have Core Skills

  • Able to foresee & manage contract risks.
  • Managing design changes & related Sub costs & settling outst&ing change requests with the Owner.
  • Planning & implementing ground-up & renovation projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, scope, & owner contract.
  • Negotiating & writing subcontracts & overall contract management, scheduling, Budgeting, cost monitoring & monthly costs at completion analysis.
