Position Summary

The Assistant Manager assists in all aspects of the administration and management of the organization. Upper

level management responsibilities include coordination, communication, and enforcement of Company and

Department processes, procedures, and standards and the promotion of Company culture and core values.

They are responsible for contributing towards a positive and collaborative working environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed

within this classification. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning

duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.

• Serves as General Manager in their absence

• Oversight of capital improvement projects to include planning, budgeting, design and construction

• Supervise management and engineering staff

• Assist in budget preparation

• Customer service and problem resolution with public and staff

• Attend monthly Board of Director meetings

• Attend public meetings to represent the organization

• Represents the organization at various meetings, conferences, etc.

• Prepare and present monthly reports on engineering projects and developments

• Performs related duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

PE in Florida or ability to obtain one within 6 months
