The Role You'll Play
Are you an ambitious operations leader, ready to be a change agent for a large, high-volume manufacturing plant? As the Assistant Director of Plant Operations for this specialty tire manufacturer in Jackson, TN, you will lead a value stream and be the go-to person for solving highly visible, impactful, complex projects. This facility needs a leader who can think critically to identify the constraints in the facility and then target and address those constraints with laser focus. You would be an integral member of the plant leadership team with the opportunity to grow into a Director role from this position.
The company values entrepreneurial spirits and removes as much red tape as possible (while still prioritizing safety), allowing you to test out ideas and be innovative in the role. Demand is high and the future is bright for this industry-leading company! If this all sounds exciting to you, apply below!
Who You Are
  • You seek out challenging projects and assignments and see them as learning opportunities
  • You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization, from the CEO to production teams on the floor.
  • You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to drill down into root causes and drive operational efficiency across the facility.
  • You are a self-starter and enjoy a fast-paced, constantly evolving manufacturing environment
  • You have an insatiable hunger to continuously improve yourself and your organization
  • You can "connect the dots" between relevant data and what you're seeing take place in the production environment
  • You are comfortable with risk and driving quick implementations of creative and innovative solutions
  • You demonstrate grit in overcoming setbacks or obstacles
What you get:
  • Autonomy to grow and shape the future of the company
  • Direct access to C-Suite leadership to help guide you through your career and work-related challenges
  • The speed in which a "Small-Large" company pushes and supports changes
  • Grooming and development for next-level opportunities
  • Frequent interaction and support from company leadership
  • An exciting, fast-paced environment
  • Interactions with industry-leading OEM manufacturers

Company Profile:

The mentor/coach leadership model along with a high value on cross-functional cooperation make this a very collaborative environment.
