Plant Operations Director Jobs

Position: Senior Operations Manager (100K-140K)

Drive manufacturing efficiency through data analysis and process optimization.

Effective time management and communication skills

Direct and manage all plant operations for production, sanitation, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

Set monthly objectives for departmental managers and schedule daily/weekly/monthly review meetings to review performance KPIs and open actions.

Develop and manage the facility budget to achieve the annual cost objectives aligned with the business plan.

10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations

Robust benefit plan offerings including Medical (PPO and HAS Plans), Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, HSA, FSA, etc.

Prepares annual budget request for needed supplies, equipment, and personnel requirements

Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:

Five years of maintenance experience

Two years of supervisory experience

Knowledge of senior housing and state regulations

Associates Degree or equivalent in relevant education, training and experience

Maintain equipment, building, utilities and grounds with an adequate preventative maintenance program. Arrange for maintenance contracts as necessary.

Maintain the emergency power generating equipment along with all fire and life safety equipment and fire drill and safety inspection reports.

Provide residents and staff with a timely and effective response to service requests.

Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations/ordinances.

Participate in cost-benefit analysis for growth via facility expansion v acquisition.

10+ years of experience in feed or food manufacturing environment, preferably in a complex process-oriented operation.

Experience optimizing the use of systems to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Develop and execute a plan to increase production capacity by 2x and lead major projects: layout changes, equipment installation, etc.

Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that improve the company's competitive position and the operation's profitability.

Establish the 2024 budget and partner with cross-functional teams to build the forecast

Knowledge Skills And Abilities (KSAs)

Operates, monitors and maintains Energy Management System by adjusting heating/cooling schedules as dictated by building loads.

Knowledge of Pneumatic tube system operation in order to repair and maintain associated equipment.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under stressful conditions.

Properly answers phone and resolves requests by using name and identifying department.

Experience performing repairs on a crushing plant (Conveyors, jaw, cone, screens, etc.)

3-5 years of experience leading a maintenance crew

Must have strong equipment and industry knowledge

Day and graveyard shifts available*

Ability to prioritize maintenance tasks

Comfortable working outdoors (in extreme Las Vegas weather conditions)

Certified Healthcare Facilities Management, (CHFM) Preferred.

First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Ability to manage multiple vendors.

Valid state driver's license with F-endorsement (if required by state).

At least 5 years of progressive operational management experience in a manufacturing environment with P&L responsibility

Developing supportive working relationships with Territory Sales Managers, other Plant Managers, and leadership within the organization

Building products industry experience strongly preferred

A proven skill set demonstrating effective communication, planning and organization, sound judgement, follow-up and control, and leadership

8+ years of experience in manufacturing required

Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously

5+ years of manufacturing management experience - Ideally as a Plant Manager or Operations Lead within Packaging/Print/Manufacturing

Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Communicate effectively with all levels of management, including supervision and hourly associates.

Manage a team of circa 100 Employees

Manage and direct the day-to-day functions of the manufacturing operations in New Jersey.

Determine capacity requirements vs forecast and recommend needed capital expenditures to support business growth

Bachelor’s Degree educated with 10+ years of Packaging experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or operations, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Oversee all aspects of facility management, including maintenance, remodels, capital projects, inventory management, and property improvements.

Develop and implement strategic plans for facility management and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, medical staff, and external contractors, to ensure effective coordination of facility operations.

Ensure efficient inventory management, overseeing the procurement of equipment and supplies as necessary.

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Maintain plant training records and qualification programs for plant employees.

Previous NRC commercial Senior Reactor Operator/Reactor Operator license OR SRO Instructor Certification is desired.

A total of five (5) years of nuclear power plant experience (commercial or Navy) is required.

A maximum of two (2) years experience may be fulfilled by academic or related technical training on a one-for-one basis.

Previous instructor experience in a formal training environment is desired.

Detailed knowledge of operating procedures and regulations in assigned area.

3 years experience in a management setting in healthcare

Provides fiscal management for department operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.

Work with Education Director to ensure that required annual fire safety training is offered to all staff.

Bachelors of Science degree in engineering, architecture, safety, construction management or related field preferred.

Knowledge or experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation)

Seven years experience in related career fields.

5+ years of management experience

Superior analytical skills to anticipate manufacturing requirements and develop contingency plans that eliminate or reduce disruption to operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field

Manage/execute and deliver on KPI's to include (but not limited to): Safety, Quality, People, Service, and Cost

Manage technology and process improvement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations function.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Assigns and directs the daily work assignments of the Operations Department

Implement changes necessary for good operations and reports abnormal conditions and unusual situations to the Plant Operations Superintendent

Bachelor’s degree with significant managerial experience in a manufacturing setting

Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations

Experience with leading and applying lean principles in a manufacturing environment

Budget Planning – you’ll participate in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost savings strategies
