Job Description
What The Role Is
You will be part of the Human Resource Directorate under The People & Organisation Group which focuses on developing people and organisational capabilities. As strategic partners to our Directorates and AGD officers, we aim to build a performance driven workforce that is future ready and agile. We work closely with senior management to nurture an engaged workforce that is motivated and passionate with One Public Service mindset to transform the public sector through finance.
Responsibilities
What you will be working on
You will be involved in a broad suite of HR functions including:
  • Partner line departments to ensure compliance of the Code of Conduct and liaise with relevant stakeholders (including Public Service Commission and security agencies) to resolve discipline cases/ issues.
  • Be an advisor to the organisation and line units in shaping the talent management approach;
  • Handle the performance management function to ensure that officers are recognised and rewarded in a fair and timely manner;
  • Undertake and implement scheme reviews as well as Compensation & Benefits components design;
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll administration; and
Requirements
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • Prior HR in the Public Service will be an advantage
Generic Competencies
  • A proactive attitude, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Innovative individual who will think out of the box to find solutions for existing and anticipated problems
  • Strong analytical, written, communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively and build trust in order to influence, facilitate and resolve conflicts
