Assistant Construction Project manager urgent need $95000

Assistant Construction Project Manager for a general contractor. Our top client currently has an opportunity available for APM to support their latest ground-up commercial projects. The APM will be an integral player in the management of the flow of information between the general contractor, the owner, and other project stakeholders and help with design assistance and the approvals process.

Construction Project Manager Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Maintains project RFI and Submittal registry and tracks each through to closure
• Ensures that all appropriate documents are posted to the project database and provides assistance to vendor as needed
• Provides regular RFI and Submittal status updates to project stakeholders
• Communicates with super/ runs meetings etc
• Processing of payment request and change orders
• Tracks and validates approvals of Hard Copy documentation from project stakeholders
• Project design
• Reviews the final soft copies of documentation, reviewing completion and adherence to A / E comments

Skills / Qualifications

• Strong judgment and flexibility
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Experienced in working with multiple leads across various disciplines to solve problems and improve processes
• Experience with commercial projects is a plus
• 1-5+ years of construction management experience preferred and recent college grads encouraged to apply also with internships,
