The Assistant Brand Marketing Manager supports the strategy and implementation of brand marketing campaigns to contribute to increased brand preference and key brand attributes. This role focuses on the overarching Florida Blue Brand and involves supporting all brand marketing activities and partnerships. In addition, the Assistant Manager ensures marketing materials align with BCBS Association guidelines and Florida Blue brand guidelines and manages the Local Presence and Sports Marketing creative requests.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage BCBS Association related activities such as cobranding, trademark, and derivative mark filing while working closely with internal legal team and play a key role in Association audits. Responsible for providing proof of use for all approved derivative marks to Association.
- Conduct Brand reviews ensuring the Florida Blue mark is used within current brand guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of brand multi-channel marketing campaigns including managing creative details and timelines.
- Manage Local Presence marketing requests, provide creative recommendations and coordinate approvals with requestor within timelines.
- Coordinate Enterprise domain requests, maintain domain list with expirations and coordination with IT team and manage domain budget.
- Evaluate industry and marketing/advertising trends and participate in market research
- Manage day to day promotional vendor relationship along with managing merchandising of gear store within budget.
- Manage activities related to corporate gear store for employees, Centers, and special projects. Serves as internal contact for issues related to specific stores.
- Oversee Sports Marketing requests ensuring integration of brand messaging and approved logo usage. Review/approve logo placements as part of sports sponsorship creative assets. Review/approve logo placement on sports related promotional materials.

- Monitor Brand mailbox, troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of Brand inquiries.
What You Must Have:
3+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Brand Marketing or related experience such as Brand Development, Design, Management, Advertising or Marketing Communications
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience Marketing related field
Additional Required Qualifications
Experience in the creative development of marketing materials
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Vendor management experience
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within the organization
What We Would Prefer You Have:
Knowledge of Brand marketing in the digital environment – web trends, social platforms Knowledge of Enterprise Brand area preferred and experience with both Florida Blue and GuideWell brands. Familiar with Adobe programs, Asset management systems
General Physical Demands
