Job Description
Description

Lower Columbia Young Life is looking for an area director to manage and grow its current ministry. Located in Longview/Kelso, this tight-knit community has a large church population and huge community involvement in the three high schools located here. Young Life has been present for more than 20 years in this community and has reliable support from long-time donors, with our biggest financial support being through the annual banquet.

There are currently two part-time staff under this position -- a (10 hours/week) mission staff at Mark Morris High School and a (20 hours/week) Young Lives coordinator. Ministry teams are currently running at two high schools and two middle schools with opportunities to grow to 7+ schools. Along with the staff is a running committee excited to help support this new addition to the team.

A successful candidate for this area would be energetic, self-motivated, and a kid-centric person who has a strong desire to grow ministry and maintain and grow donor relationships.
