Architectural Designer Jobs

Helix Design Group, Inc., located in Tacoma, WA is looking to fill an immediate opening for an Architectural Designer with five (+) years of experience in the commercial market.

*This is an in-office position.

Helix participates in a broad project market base including retail, healthcare, civic, office, recreation, auto, hospitality, light industrial, historic and ports/industrial. This diversity of markets and clients fosters a strong company and staff which, in turn, brings long-term economic stability. With a diverse portfolio already established we are actively expanding our markets to include new project types.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated, detail oriented, great verbal and written communication skills, and embraces teamwork/collaboration.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
• Five (+) years of experience in an architectural office setting.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of design, without extra supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes.
• Work in a team with other architects, architectural designers, graphic designers and interior designers.
• Re-work and modify designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
• Keep up to date with new developments in the architecture industry.
• Complete on-site as-builts.
• Oversee the draft process of a project and complete outstanding items or tasks that remain to be accomplished.
