Job Description

At MV+A, we are passionate about sharing ideas and creating a striking, contextual, and impactful built environment. We have a deep expertise in working with developers, local jurisdictions, communities, anchor retail tenants and other project stakeholders in creating thoughtfully designed plans and buildings that successfully contribute to the community fabric and enhance social engagement.

MV+A is a diverse group of architects, designers, and planners, bringing our collective experience to develop meaningful solutions for our clients. We are actively searching for bright, mindful, focused and professional colleagues to join our collaborative team. This role is for a person seeking to expand their opportunities through steadily increasing knowledge and responsibilities as they become an integral person in the production and development of our many mixed-use, retail, multi-family, and general commercial projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Project Architect to take these projects from the concept design phase through construction. Your initiative, growing technical abilities, and collaborative attitude will be integral in the successful delivery of some of the firm’s more challenging projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with design consultants and internal team members to resolve technical and existing condition challenges to produce efficient, constructible solutions.
  • Rapidly produce aesthetic studies and design ideas for evaluation by both internal managers and the client.
  • Provide architectural renderings for client presentations using Enscape or Lumion
  • Produce technical drawings illustrating design intent.
  • With guidance from the Project Manager/Architect, engage in the design process and documentation of multiple projects leveraging your skills in SketchUp and Revit.
  • Actively participate in client and design team meetings

Your Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and SketchUp.
  • Be a person of great initiative and have a thirst for learning.
  • 0-6 years of related experience, including demonstrated success in the development of construction documents for mixed-use, commercial, retail and/or renovation projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited school
  • Experience in Enscape or Lumion is a plus.
  • Valid US work permit

Benefits include a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
