Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Design Technician to join our Facilities Remodel Design team! The Architectural Design Technician provides constructions documents in the design process to protect sales and market share by ensuring our existing stores are customized to satisfy the unique needs of each location and equipment deficiencies are eliminated.   • Designing and drafting design development plans for projects of small complexity that are accurate and consistent with Publix design standards
  • Serving as the design single point of contact for assigned projects to resolve any design-related issues, concerns, or conflicts during both the design and construction process to ensure the project is not delayed and budget is not impacted
  • Developing the design of small projects including heavy Paint and Décors, and Special Projects

Required Qualifications:
  • Basic AutoCAD
  • Actively working on Associate Degree in Architecture or Interior Design related field or Technical School drafting program
  • Knowledge of Architectural design standards
  • 0-2 years of work experience in directly related position
