Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve software-related issues reported by end-users.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance end-user knowledge and proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities and escalate complex issues to senior support staff when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration and smooth operation of applications.
  • Continuously improve application support processes to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches as required.
  • Document technical procedures and create user guides for applications.
  • Respond promptly to user inquiries and provide technical assistance for software applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the supported applications.


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of software applications, operating systems, and databases.
  • Proven experience in application support or a similar technical support role.
