Anr Network Engineer Jobs

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity to support a DoD customer. Duties will include, but are limited to the following:

• Formulate logical designs of system problems, devise and implement procedures for solutions to those problems.
• Complete and maintain operational and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoots 802.1x authentication issues and dynamic VLAN allocation using Cisco ISE.
• Assists with switch configuration.
• Manage operations and lifecycle support, including but not limited to software upgrade requirements, outages, capacity planning, rack and floor space management, server management, and logical access controls management.
• Troubleshoots port/protocol with protocol analyzer.

• Candidate must have MCSA or MCSE or Obtain Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate within 60 days of hire.
• Candidate must have a minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Candidate must have active Security+ CE or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II Certification
• Candidate must have active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification
• Candidate must be a US Citizen

Candidate must have 3+ years experience with the following:

• Network routing protocols
• Microsoft Server and Microsoft Operating System Administration
• VMWare
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, installation and configuration of Cisco devices to include switches, routers, and hubs
• Cisco IOS

Desired skills

• Splunk experience
• Experience with network monitoring tools, Solarwinds preferred
• Networked printer administration
• Experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls
