Job Overview And Key Responsibilities
Analysts/Senior Analysts are responsible for evaluating widebody fleets within the United Airlines network and making adjustments to optimize aircraft schedules with consideration to operational criteria. Responsibilities include:

• Optimize United's schedule for profitability and operability while accounting for other stakeholder priorities, including safety, customer service, airport operations, aircraft maintenance, catering, inflight crew, aircraft performance, and others
• Analyze aircraft flows, turn times, equipment type compatibility, gating constraints, crew availability, and other parameters
• Coordinate across multiple commercial and operating groups to ensure viability of network plans
• Perform ad-hoc analyses on schedule design, connectivity, and operational parameters

Note: This position is a hybrid role including a combination of days worked in our Chicago office and remotely.

What’s Needed To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

• Complex problem solving through independent critical thinking
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline
• Quantitative analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• 3-5 years professional analytical work experience

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• 3-5 years of aircraft scheduling/planning experience preferred
• Experience with Sabre AirVision / Schedule Manager
• Master's degree in an analytical discipline
