Position Summary
The Analyst, Investigative Support is critical in protecting guests, employees, and crew through analytical and administrative processes. The incumbent will research and analyze pre-sail passenger screening program data to identify critical risks related to the No Sail and Sexual Offender Alert Program as well as providing Investigative analytics to the Global Investigations Team.
  • This role is an On-Site position (Miami, FL) with regular office hours. **
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • May serve in a Situational Management capacity during an incident.
  • Works with Investigations Manager and Sr. Investigator, Investigative Support to make recommendations for consensus regarding the improvement of the Watchlist and SOAP functions and systems.
  • Communicates and works across departments to obtain information relevant to investigative cases or guest screening programs.
  • Retrieves and reviews data relevant to all guest screening programs (including but not limited to the Sexual Offender Alert Program (SOAP), the Watch List and the Fleet Visitor Request (FVR) programs according to set time guidelines.
  • Extracts pertinent information for further analysis and maintains that information in a database.
  • Analyzes data and organizes materials for presentation.
  • Provides analytical throughput for confidential internal and external investigations.
  • Seeks outcome of Criminal Cases and Court ruling on existing cases involving guests and crew for inclusion in the Investigative Summaries.
  • Trains and provides subject matter expertise related to the guest screening programs to members of Safety, Security, and Environment as well as stakeholder partners within the Company.
  • Serve in an on-call capacity on the Watchlist/SOAP Support Line to provide operational support for the fleet regarding Watchlist and SOAP inquiries.
  • Prepares timely reports and presentations outlining/summarizing guest screening program activity.
  • Will provide investigative support to the Global Security Investigations, Intelligence and Situational Management Teams
  • Will review and provide statistical data and lead special projects involving data from a variety of sources as directed by the Investigations Manager.
  • Reviews the Watch List and SOAP reports submitted by other stakeholders within the company.

  • Security or law enforcement analytical experience preferred.
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.

  • Ability to effectively and diplomatically communicate decisions and guidance.
  • Strong written skills
  • Advanced proficiency in the utilization of personal computers within a Windows environment including e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and related printers and equipment as well as Incident Management/Event Logging systems.
  • Ability to solve practical problems on their own and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Work Environment
  • Analyst, Investigative Support is considered essential personnel, subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty location, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description.
  • As a last resort, the Analyst may be directed to deploy to an onsite emergency to lead a Team as directed. This role is an On-Site position with regular office hours.
  • The Analyst will be directed to work during an emergency or weather event, when the Incident Response Center is activated, and will serve as a member of the Incident Command Structure, as part of Situational Management.
