Job Description
Check out this video and find out why our team loves to work here!Responsible for the development and maintenance of Sales, Service and Marketing solutions in the Gas Business Unit, including the 100+ user-base, Salesforce Enterprise version system, and any other supporting systems such as ACT-ON, AppExchange products etc. Responsible for supporting reporting for the GBU, including system dashboards, KPI’s, sales metrics, sales compliance. This individual will also liaise with the organizations within the Gas Business Unit and cross functional teams to provide support and drive adoption.

Essential Functions: 
  • Implements new business processes through the applications as requested by the user community and approved by management.
  • Provides and develops optimized solutions according to Salesforce best practices.
  • Delivers timely, accurate and actionable business information
  • Coordinates and supports business Users’ Reporting needs and provides continuous review and cleansing of data in the applications.
  • Trains Sales and Marketing, Sales Fulfillment personnel and Field Users on all aspects of SalesForce System reports, configuration, and associated business processes, and assists in the analysis of data and recommendations for Eversource Operating Company Business improvements
  • Establishes specifications for business requirements, upgrades, and enhancements to improve Salesforce functionality and to improve the Marketing, Sales and Sales Fulfillment process.
  • Prepares documentation such as technical design documents, unit test documents, and deployment documents.
  • Deploys any changes to production using migration tools.
  • Serves as a champion of organizational change.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting for Business Process Conformance and Performance.
  • Audits field usage and overall system adoption on a regular basis; conducts system maintenance.
  • Coordinates activities with members of Eversource Operating Companies as needed for successful execution of the SalesForce process and to achieve consistent and standard results
  • Remains updated with new Salesforce.com features and functionality providing recommendations for process improvements.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill: 
  • Good interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals (peers and superiors) toward goal achievement; ability to modify behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved.
  • Good organizational skills, and the ability to deal with multiple and varied System related issues in a given day.
  • The split between System Admin/Developer is 50/50.
  • Good problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application defects, e.g. software and/or configuration bugs including user errors.  Individual must possess good communication skills, both oral and written, to instruct SalesForce users on configuration setup / reporting and problem resolution.
  • Ability to demonstrate additional computer skills on applications such as Power Point, Word, and Excel are required.  Experience in AppExchange products and integration using REST and SOAP is required.
Education:     
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:    
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of experience
Licenses & Certifications:  
  • Individual must have current SalesForce Administrator and SalesForce Developer certifications. 
Working Conditions:
  • Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.  The annual salary range for this position is $89,340.00 to $99,270.00, plus incentive.  Salary is commensurate with your experience.  Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
