eCommerce Analyst - Amazon
Direct Hire/ Salaried position
Location: NE Ohio - must live in area or moving here on own.
70-90K Base Salary + Bonus (100-130K total Comp)
Are you an eCommerce or web-based sales analyst? Do you have experience driving, analyzing, and executing data decisions on Amazon Marketing Services for your company or other companies?
This is a position for an eCommerce account manager who can work in an entrepreneurial environment. The right candidate must be a self-starter and highly motivated with ability to multi-task and stay organized. This would be a great opportunity for a business minded data analyst as the skills to analyze, crunch, and report on data is tantamount to success.
Required Experiences/Skills:
- Highly effective communicator with superior verbal and writing skills; and be a team player and builder.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Web based vendor portals management (Amazon specifically).
- Minimum 1- 3 years’ sales eCommerce management using Amazon channel .
- Ability to create a vision and strategy providing decisive leadership to a senior management team and within the peer group.
- (Marketing experience is a plus).
- Demonstrated computer competencies with proficiency in Excel (math functions and spreadsheets) and Word.
The Amazon eCommerce Analyst is responsible for the day to day management of online marketplace accounts which will focus on growing Amazon based sales and visibility, with possibility for more in the future (ex. Walmart, Jet, Wayfair, eBay, etc.). This position is for someone with experience running Amazon 3P and/or 1P accounts, including using all the seller central demand generation techniques.
Additional Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Amazon Marketing Services online digital marketing and managing related channels
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong excel skills with ability to create reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and comfort level working with data
- ECommerce experience B2C
- Experience managing multiple Amazon accounts on Seller Central or similar 1-3 years
- Experience with Amazon Marketing Services 1-3 years
- Understanding and ability to navigate Amazon’s systems with the know how to help resolve any Amazon.com issues
- Experience/familiarity with most popular online marketplaces
- Highly accurate and organized and self-directed
- Self-motivated to perform tasks on a timely manner
- Preferred experience would be handling products in Manufacturing/Distribution
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on both promotional and POS data trends
- Help analyze and Execute digital marketing campaigns on Amazon, including Amazon SEO, AMS advertising (headline, product and display)
- Upload and Maintain product listings on Amazon and other selling channels
- Proactively identify sales growth opportunities
- Closely monitor the return on investment for advertisement spending
- Manage the day to day responsibilities for all aspects of Amazon, including inventory management, compliance reporting and performance reporting
- Help improve sales processes
- Help and influence the writing of detailed, rich and concise copy for current and new products as needed
- Closely monitor amount spent on advertisements
- Closely monitor sales trends and competition positions
- Account setup and on-boarding for customers
- Actively monitor all marketplaces daily for accuracy
- Conducting competitor analysis and creating marketing strategies such as top keyword analysis to drive product sales on Amazon
- Perform all other office tasks and responsibilities as requested
- Review sales history to determine productivity trends
- Creating excel reporting for sales, inventory, profit, etc.
- Increase listing ranking and visibility/traffic through marketplace tools and promotions
- Monitoring performance ratings on all sales channels
- Review inventory levels, third party sellers and retail dips on a regular basis
- Manage multiple Amazon accounts/products
- Analyze purchase orders, demographic orders, seasonal sales, lost sales, etc.
