What You'll Do:

The Affiliate Marketing Lead will be responsible for building upon the foundation of Whisker’s affiliate marketing program and taking it to the next level. This position will play a huge role in Whisker’s next stage of growth. The person in this role will maximize current partnerships and create new ones to drive sales and create awareness in highly visible and impactful placements and publications. This role will drive and manage the affiliate program across Whisker’s ecosystem of sites (Litter-Robot.com, Litterbox.com, Whisker.com, both in domestic and international markets). Core responsibilities include day-to-day management of affiliate programs through platforms, strategic partnership development, client communication and helping the channel work cross functionally within the Whisker organization.

• Conducts research and analysis on industry trends to identify unique partnership opportunities
• Plans, manages and executes affiliate campaigns, including but not limited to account and campaign setup, strategy development, partnership recruitment and relationship management, organization, and day-to-day program management
• Regularly audits affiliate and influencer partners to make sure campaign promotions are appropriate, accurate, and reflect Whisker’s brand guidelines
• Develops the groundwork and vision for a successful affiliate management program while owning and optimizing your monthly marketing budget to maximize revenue
• Produces monthly reports that show the breakdown of our partner initiatives and the impact they are having on our growth
• Achieves monthly/quarterly/yearly growth targets as measured by new affiliate referred accounts, sales, and activated recruited affiliates
• Manages and maintains our affiliate program in Partnerize
• Uses a repeatable system for recruiting new, highly influential affiliates
• Defines the strategy, vision, and roadmap for a multi-tiered affiliate management program to help drive our overarching growth goals
• Builds relationships with our top affiliates and helps improve their performance over time by testing customized offerings
• Partners with PR Partners on pitching affiliate deals to top outlets
• Creates and manages ongoing and one-off campaigns and contests to activate more affiliate partners

Requirements

• Experience with affiliate platforms like Skimlinks, PCommission Junction, Rakuten
• Have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values
• Experience in managing large scale, complex and multi-tiered affiliate campaigns
• Strong client and team leadership qualities – Strong ability to build rapport with people and negotiate profitable partnerships
• 5+ years of direct affiliate management experience
• Deep understanding of the acquisition funnel, performance marketing KPIs and profitability levers
• Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and articulate
• Comprehensive knowledge of key affiliate platforms (Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten, CJ, Awin)
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and ability to translate metrics into actionable insights
• BA in Marketing
• You are a great problem solver, self-motivator, and strategic thinker
• Experience working with a variety of affiliate types (online creators, bloggers, top outlets, media buyers)
• Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple departments
• Proven track record of growing revenue through the optimization of affiliate marketing channels with tiered incentive structures
• Technical understanding of digital performance marketing products and services (SEO, SEM, Social, Influencer)
• Exceptional visual, written, spoken communication, and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
• Knowledge of CPL, CPC, and CAC payment models with a proven track record of improving those blended CPA goals.
