Administrative Assistant (School-Based With Some Remote Work)

Kid Centered Therapy is an agency that provides Applied Behavior Analysis to children and adolescents. KCT provides therapy services in the client’s natural environment, such as their home, school, or other community setting. We have a team of dedicated Registered Behavioral Technicians and Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting educational institutions? We are currently seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Broward County area, mainly Plantation, FL. This position will be primarily located at the school campus with 50% remote work opportunities. As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks and providing valuable support to both staff and technicians. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with staff on special projects and tasks
• Efficiently manage the scheduling administrative tasks, including creating, updating, and distributing school schedules, data entry, and record keeping.
• Proficiently handle scheduling and calendar management for staff, meetings, events, and activities.
• Handle incoming inquiries and correspondence, responding in a professional and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff to ensure timely completion of paperwork and documentation.
• Prepare and distribute company communications, announcements, and newsletters.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Embrace and adapt to new technologies and tools for streamlining administrative processes.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in an educational setting is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using various office software and applications.
• Adept at multitasking and remaining composed under pressure.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) agency experience preferred, not required
• Proficient in scheduling and calendar management.
• Quick learner, able to grasp new concepts and procedures rapidly.
• Can effectively communicate and collaborate with families, analysts, therapists, and others
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is preferred.
• AHCA Background Level 2 Check

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position, with the majority of the work being conducted on-site at the school campus in Plantation, FL. However, Kid Centered Therapy recognizes the importance of work-life balance and offers opportunities for remote work on designated days or as needed. The schedule may vary depending on the school's activities and events. (School-Based with Some Remote Work)
