Position : Instructional Design Coordinator (Entry Level with Some Exp)


Location : Stuart, FL


Duration : 12 Months Contract


Total Hours/week : 40.00


Work Hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm EST

Description


  • The Instructional Design Coordinator develops, re-structures, documents, and organizes’ the training department’s new hire and existing employee training programs.
  • This position is also responsible for maintaining all internal and external training scheduling and assisting in the creation and dissemination of training reporting metrics.


Primary Duties And Responsibilities


  • Calibrates newly created presentations with training staff or subject matter experts to ensure subject matter is accurate and relevant prior to disseminating for presentation to staff. Includes running mock presentations with training staff members, assigning time frames to each presentation slide and calculating total presentation time and testing time if applicable for each new presentation created Direct responsibility for updating existing training presentations, tests, study guides and reference materials for updates and changes to new hire and existing staff training programs.
  • Maintains paper and electronic training department assessment scores and creates and maintains reporting to support new hire and ongoing training metrics.
  • Schedules the appropriate training facilities and prepares the physical room setup.
  • Provides updates and modifications to sales leadership for review and approval prior to utilization.
  • Creates training presentations, tests, study guides, and reference materials for new hire and existing staff training programs under the guidance of training leadership, staff trainers and/or subject matter experts.
  • Maintains training calendars and/or creates invites for training sessions. Creates training agendas and organizes training materials for internal and external training programs, seminars, and conferences for Liberator Medical representatives across each business unit.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned
  • Contacts attendees and department representatives about training programs as directed, sets up audiovisual equipment and co-facilitates training when necessary. 7

  • Provides work direction plus has responsibility for hiring, promotions, transfers, performance management, discipline, and discharge.

Education/Experience


  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); two to five years related experience and/or direct training experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Skills


Language:


  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets medical supply publications, technical procedures, and training tools. Ability to write some external business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and/or team members. 2


Math


  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply intermediate math skills.


Reasoning


  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.


Computer


  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Excel, Access and/or other database software.


Telecommunications


  • Ability to utilize or knowledge of Mitel or Avaya phone systems c.
