Job Description
Job Responsibilities


Under general supervision, provides technical and specialized professional services for the Real Estate Commission. Provides support to Real Estate licensing staff and customer service.


Reviews and processes applications for initial licensing, renewals, and examinations. Updates databases, prepares and mails out examination information Assists with all Commission application processes and compliance matters. Scans documents to applicant's records as needed.


Answers phone calls and emails concerning individuals wanting to know procedures for obtaining a registration or license. Assists the public with the verification of licenses. Returns all phone calls and emails within a 24-hour period.


Verifies that applicants have submitted proper documentation concerning the Immigration Reform Act. Verifies compliance with guidelines as set forth by the Commission. Communicates with the testing service provider to provide data for individuals testing and receiving scores from examinations.


Through mail, emails, or phone calls, contacts applicants concerning additional information required to complete the application process.


Performs other duties and tasks to support the program as needed.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


State Minimum Requirements A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for related work experience.


Ability to work effectively with applicants, licensees, and the public in disseminating and obtaining information; to provide quality customer service, and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. Ability to exercise judgment in applying policies/procedures with licensees to include non-routine situations. Computer database and software skills are necessary. Ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 WPM.


General supervision.


Ability to lift 20-30 pounds. This is a sedentary position; must be able to sit for long periods of time. Ability to squat to file in lower file drawers and reach files in upper drawers.


Preferred Qualifications


Preferred Requirements: (3) years of administrative experience.
