Job Description

As a project coordinator you will assist project managers with specific administrative tasks related to their assigned projects. You organize and communicate all the details of projects and specific assignments to team members and serve as a liaison between those team members and the project manager.


You must have:

  • Ability to work on site: Hours can be 6:30-2:30, 7-3. 8-5 ( Flexible) No Remote
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Residential, commercial, or open to other industries as a Project Coordinator


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in administrative coordination of construction projects in logical steps.

• Liaise with Project Management and field supervisory personnel, Clients, trade contractors, and design professionals to track, document, and issue directives to help facilitate efficient and effective progress on each project.

• Communicate plans and updates/revisions, weekly updates, meeting notes, and punch lists to staff, trades, and

• Clients. Effective communication coordination for follow up as needed.

• Administrative support for periodic construction activities, including three week schedules, RFI’s, project start up, and closeout. Assimilate Request for Proposals (RFP’s) to Contracts once approved by Project Manager and issue via DocuSign.

• Support the process of obtaining all necessary building permits, dust control permits, current contractor licenses, and insurance certificates for trade contractors. Follow-up to ensure DSC maintains current compliance documents at all times.

• Issue RFP’s, follow-up, track, and assimilate/verify RFP Comparisons for project bidding and client presentation preparation.

• Must be a self-starter who understands the need for detail in the midst of work being done within a much larger picture.

• Must be creative and flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.

• Must have a sound understanding of high-end residential construction and customer service spirit associated.

• Execute and coordinate other special projects as may periodically occur


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Construction related field preferred. Construction experience preferred, minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience required.


SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred, but can be taught if needed. Experience with Sage 100 or 300 preferred (formerly Master Builder and Timberline, respectively).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required (PowerPoint helpful), and the ability to quickly learn new software programs when required.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere preferred, but not required. Must be able to speak, write, and effectively communicate in English.
