Accounts Receivable-Shipping Admin Jobs

FLSA Status: Non-exempt Summary Performs multiple tasks within the accounting department by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Checks and approves all vouchers for payment. Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary. Audits freight bills against freight manifests. Answers all vendor inquiries. Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted. Prepares accounts payable checks. Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in weekly and monthly closings. Assists with special projects, as necessary. Types data plates and packs for homes. Enters payments received on homes. Prepare state reports for all homes. Invoice homes and send Certificate of Origin for payment. Monitors floor plan interest and drywall reimbursement. Completes tax exemption certificates, as needed. Qualifications Must be detail oriented and have high math proficiency. Must exhibit high ethical standards and professionalism. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel. Knowledge of Navision is a plus Must possess sound interpersonal and communication skills. Education and/or Experience Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
