Position Summary:
Seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk has the primary responsibility of assisting the Accounts Receivable Manager with securing revenue by verifying, collecting and resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain customer files in database, heavy scanning
• Submit freight claims
• Keep all accounts receivable accounting records filed and accessible
• Assist with various account receivable related projects
• Research and answer questions relating to internal billing
• Bank Deposit support
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management
• Investigate all customer debit memos and Heavy Chargebacks
• Help maintain accounts receivable aging; including follow up and collection of past due invoices
• Coordinate with various departments to process billing requests
• Issue Proof of Delivery

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Experience collecting accounts receivable for a manufacturing, distribution or large corporation
• 2+ years of experience working in all areas of accounts receivable; strong understanding of the cash application, chargeback process and financial analysis
• Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Pharmaceutical industry and/or retail experience preferred

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
• Proficient in using MS Office programs, specifically Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, driving results and process improvement
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and interact with all levels of in-house personnel
